With Tyranny (2014), The Voidz – the project led by Julian Casablancas – deliver a radical, abrasive debut album, where dissonant guitars, chaotic rhythms, and a wide range of influences (punk, metal, world music, retro synths) collide to paint a dystopian sonic fresco.

Far from conventional pop formats, the band explores a raw, experimental energy, blending political critique with artistic exploration, and cementing Casablancas’s role as a musical agitator working well outside the beaten path.
