With Cult, Apocalyptica expanded the boundaries of cello-driven metal, blending classical precision with raw, emotional power. Originally released in 2000, the album showcases the band’s transition from reinterpretations of metal classics to bold, original compositions – layered with melody, tension, and cinematic drama. Now reissued as an Amber Marbled Double Vinyl, Cult reveals even greater depth in sound and dynamics, bringing out the full resonance of the cellos and the dark beauty of it’s orchestral arrangements.
